Steamed Shetland mussels in a curry & coconut broth with coriander & root vegetables

Rock oysters served with lemon & shallot dressing (supplement £2.50)

Smoked haddock & celeriac soup with little croutons & pancetta lardons

Smoked salmon picattas with potato & apple salad, beetroot creme fraiche & curly endive

Salade Lyonnaise ~ poached egg & streaky bacon with mixed leaves, walnuts & garlic croutons

Roasted then marinated beetroot with goat cheese bonbons, quail egg, golden raisins, walnuts & mesclun

Deep fried hake in beer batter accompanied by homemade chips, mushy peas, roast cherry tomatoes & tartar sauce

Steamed fillet of lemon sole rolled in lettuce leaf with shellfish fricassee, seaweed, risotto & saffron broth

Footdee fish pie ~ an array of fish & shellfish cooked in white wine & mustard sauce with mashed potatoes cheese & bread crust

Roast cod topped with a pesto crust with crushed potato & aubergine caviar & red pepper dressing

Confit duck leg with gratin dauphinoise, braised cabbage, stuffed mushrooms, juniper berries & black pepper jus

Butternut squash risotto with stuffed mushrooms, asparagus & parmesan shavings
